care card must be presented) for verification and documentation, (2)
A Polaroid photograph is taken or the clients are asked to bring a passport
photograph and (3) the patient is further identified by fingerprinting.
Tamper-Proof Packaging The samples are encased in
tamper proof packaging and sealed with a tamper evident security seal
and initialled by the patient as well as the collector.
Strict Chain-of-Custody Protocols Strict chain-of-custody
procedures are followed for all samples to ensure that the integrity
of the sample can be maintained and traced from the moment of sample
collection until the time it reaches the testing laboratory.
Secure Transport All samples are delivered by express
courier using an internationally recognized courier company.
Internal Tracking Documents A strict continuity of
possession and handling is maintained for all samples received by the
laboratory.
