Genex's Laboratory Testing Service is accessible to Service
Requestors throughout North America. Genex provides DNA testing services
to the legal and medical community throughout North America and worldwide.
Technical Accessibility
All forensic Casework is processed directly by Genex and is never processed
by a third party facility. Clients throughout North America can readily
contact Case Managers at Genex by contacting a single toll free number,
1-888-262-2263. Case Managers are available from 8:00AM to 5:30PM, Pacific
Standard Time, 11:00AM to 8:30PM Eastern Time, to accommodate clients
from throughout North America. For emergencies, the laboratory will
provide a twenty-four hour emergency number for paging on-call Case
Managers after standard operating hours, on weekends and holidays.
Services are available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese
to accommodate requests from clients who require multilingual services.
Physical Presence Throughout North America
In support of the main laboratory, Genex has an existing network of over
900 chain-of-custody sample collection sites at medical clinics and hospitals
in all major cities throughout the United States and Canada. Staff at the
collection sites are trained to perform chain-of-custody sample collection
for Genex. Individuals attending appointments for sample collection are
positively identified by fingerprinting and photographed. Valid photograph
identification is verified at the time of sample collection. In addition,
in most cities, nurses and phlebotomists are available for mobile sample
collection from individuals who are unable to attend an appointment (eg.
Collection from individuals in prisons and hospitals). |
