Glossary - Subclade
Subclade
Refers to the sub-classification of Clades (Haplogroups) in the Y-DNA or mtDNA phylogenetic tree into further sub-branches. For example, E1 and E2 are subclades of Y-DNA Haplogroup E. E1a and E1b are subclades of E1.
